I am told to upgrade in Sponsored Mode

Issue:

Eudora is telling me that I need to upgrade even though I am already running the latest version.

Solution:

What you are seeing is a replacement Ad for all Sponsored Mode users.

With our transition to Open Source, we are no longer requiring users to receive Ads for the program to stay in Sponsored Mode. This is only with the current version 7.1 on Windows and 6.2.4 on Macintosh, if you are on a previous version please upgrade Eudora from here.

If you are on the most recent version of Eudora the replacement Ad will disappear eventually and you will only see a Eudora logo.
