Setting up auto-reply Document ID: 2140HQISSUE: How do I set up an auto-reply in EIMS? SOLUTION: The auto-reply function requires that a text file containing the auto-reply message text exist on volume that is accessible. This text file should be plain text with no formatting. The field that accompanies the Mail Action setting must contain a valid file path string which identifies the file containing the auto-reply text. Double check the volume name and folder structure that houses the file to avoid potential problems. If it is intended that this account receives mail messages while the auto-reply is in effect, be sure the Keep copies box is checked.
